Over the years, Thoits has been involved with various Silicon Valley organizations, but it was recently that Thoits executives decided they would establish the Thoits 100. In the spirit of 100% employee-ownership, Thoits is in the early stages of defining and developing a charitable program that would ultimately incorporate forging relationships with 100 different community organizations.
Thoits believes that giving back to the community is of the utmost importance. Community service is not just a responsibility, it is a necessity.
As an Employee owned organization in San Jose, Thoits Insurance is currently involved in several activities and charities that support our local community. We encourage our employees to volunteer their time and efforts in supporting the San Jose Bay Area.
In 2011, our focus is to give back to our local community by volunteering as much time as we can. Team Thoits is our internal committee that coordinates such efforts. If your community organization or non-profit is interested please submit your request in detail at least 60 days prior to your event to the Team Thoits Committee for consideration.
