Eric Nielsen Joins Thoits Insurance as CFO
San Jose , CA 06/18/08 - Thoits Insurance Service, Inc. is excited to announce the appointment of Eric Nielsen as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nielsen's financial experience spans over 20 years.
After earning his Master's degree in Accountancy at Brigham Young University, Mr. Nielsen started his career as an Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. less than 10 years later, he was named Chief Financial Officer of a physician based HMO in California.
Mr. Nielsen then shifted to the Real Estate industry when he became a finance officer for The Marcus & Millichap Company and CFO of its subsidiary, SummerHill Homes. He remained in the real estate industry until joining Thoits Insurance in May.
Mentoring and coaching, investor relations and financial analysis are just a few of the many talents Mr. Nielsen brings to his new role at Thoits.
