Mountain View, CA — September 6, 2007 — Thoits Insurance is proud to welcome Frank Alexander II as Vice President.

Frank began his 18 year career in the insurance industry with a national insurance company, where he examined medical claims for large employer groups such as Clorox and Sebastiani Vineyards and Winery.  He was recognized for fighting fraudulent claims and saved one employer $250,000.

Frank then moved to a national group health carrier where he implemented new high profile accounts such as Coca-Cola, Pacific Bell and Levi Strauss & Co.  He was later promoted to recruit, hire, train and motivate a team of insurance analysts responsible for the benefits for over 3,000 employers and 2.5 millions employees and their families.

He left the benefits arena to work as an Account Manager, Producer and Underwriting Manager for a brokerage that specializes in professional liability insurance.  At this firm, Frank marketed new products and doubled new business sales.  He reduced the average underwriting time by 70% while improving processes.

In 2001, Frank joined an international brokerage firm as an Account Manager.  In this capacity, he handled all aspects of a risk from marketing to servicing.  Promoted to Account Executive, Frank worked with new business prospects to create the proposal of an insurance risk management program.

Frank holds the CISR designation and is currently working towards the CIC designation.  Frank holds a Property Casualty License from the California Department of Insurance.
