San Jose, CA — December 11, 2008 — Thoits Insurance Service, Inc is pleased to announce that Shanel Hudson, CIC was recently promoted to Commercial Lines Manager. 

Shanel joined Thoits in 1996 and has over 20 years of experience handling large Commercial accounts, including marketing and underwriting.  Since that time she has worked in the Commercial Lines team, handling all aspects of large accounts and specializing in construction risks.   

In her new role as Commercial Lines Manager, Shanel will manage the commercial lines support units for Select, Risk Management and Programs.
