We are licensed in 48 states. Our policy is to use only A-rated carriers. However, from time to time it is necessary to use a less than A-rated carrier and we do so with a signed disclosure from our client. We also have a due diligence process for any vendor that is not an insurance carrier.
Yes, we do feel strongly about this. While we cannot guarantee an insurer's performance, it is our responsibility to protect our clients from risk, and we take that seriously.
